FM Approvals

 

Union Foam is pleased to announce that the prestigious FM Approvals certification has been achieved on its standard product Eurobatex range for the following items:

Pipes: up to 50mm thickness and 168mm internal diameter
Sheets: up to 50mm thickness

This certification is issued by an independent testing laboratory of FM Global, one of the world’s most important international insurance companies.

FM Approved (Factory Mutual Approved) is a trademark used for fire protection systems, as a fundamental element for the prevention of fire and the safety of buildings.

FM approval includes the most stringent Reaction to Fire requirements for the material, which must be fully achieved.

We are pleased to confirm that our manufacturing technology, which has always been based upon the quality of the Eurobatex brand, allows us to supply our standard product with FM Approvals Certification. The universal recognition of the Accreditation in the Construction Industry is a guarantee for major project work, which can translate into significant economic benefits for the Specifier and Building Occupant in terms of improved safety and a reduction in the rate of the insurance premiums.

These products have passed very strict tests, allowing them to be used in various categories of building where fire performance standards are required including commercial, industrial and institutional applications.
