Union Foam is pleased to announce that it has obtained the UL 94 Flame Class HB, HF-1 certification for the Eurobatex AT product, available in sheets and pipes with thicknesses ranging from 6 to 32 mm.

UL 94 is a flammability testing standard for plastic materials issued by Underwriters Laboratories (USA). The standard classifies plastic materials based on their flame behavior according to different testing methodologies. The UL 94 certification, subject to regular inspections and audits to maintain the certification mark, includes particularly stringent fire reaction requirements and is widely requested in the industrial sector.
 
Eurobatex AT is an EPDM-based material developed for applications requiring high resistance to elevated temperatures and UV radiation, making it particularly suitable for outdoor use and harsh environmental conditions. We are pleased to confirm that our ongoing commitment to the development of increasingly high-performance materials enables us to offer products bearing the UL Approved mark. The international recognition of the UL certification represents a guarantee for a demanding market such as OEM.
